I recently created a new group on Facebook called Grimble’s Wire Pullers. In it, musicians and fans can come together and discuss musical issues that go beyond songs and albums.

One of the things I wanted to talk about first was Fender Guitars’s “case and desist” attempts toward guitar manufacturers creating instruments shaped like Fender’s Stratocaster.

Needless to say, it was easy to get that particular ball rolling.

I thought it would be great to have an online “roundtable” discussion about Fender and the fallout from their actions.
