With the exception of perhaps The Beatles, it’s hard to imagine an artist or band that had a five-album run like Stevie Wonder between 1971 and ‘76. Think about it: Music of My Mind, Fulfillingness First Finale, Talking Book, Innervisions, Songs in the Key of Life … if there’s a bad note to be found on any of those albums, I can’t think of what it is.

The thought of picking a couple of tunes in arbitrary fashion didn’t make a lot of sense to me, what with not a bad note and all. So, I found three tunes from what appears to be the same 1974 performance. They don’t need an introduction, so just dig in!
