This list contains some of my favorite Genesis tunes from beginning to end.^ In order to save time, let me go ahead and make the “Yeah … they evolved into shite” comment for some of you. There … feel better?

Anyway, I tried to make rules for myself (like limiting it to no more than three tunes per album), but that went out the window almost instantly. Which is how this became a six-hour playlist. Even I won’t take the whole thing on in a single sitting! This is three solid meals a day.

Yeah, I stuck mostly to the proggy tunes. That’s what I like, too. (I’m talking to you above-mentioned jokesters.) We dig what we dig. That’s just the way it is.

I didn’t want to repeat myself, so I decided to chose either the studio OR the live version of these tunes. Not both.
